With the new Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce comes new opportunities for our members. Starting this year, we invite members to write a blog post about their industry that will be posted on our blog on this new website and shared through social media. We intend for our blog to be a useful and credible source of information for business professionals in the community to stay informed about trends, best practices, what to expect, innovation, and other business and industry-related information.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The blog post should contain content that would be of general interest to the business community. With that in mind, submissions should avoid any direct selling or sales pitches. In addition, content should be original work.

FORMAT
The format for the blog should include:
- Title
- Topic or Industry
- Author Information: Name, Title, Company/Organization, Website URL/Address
- Summary (1-2 sentences)
- Body (generally 300-600 words)
