Springfield’s beloved Bridge Walk returns on Saturday, August 30, 2025, uniting residents, local businesses, and Fort Belvoir for a day of celebration and community spirit. This annual tradition not only honors the strong relationship between our community and the military but also gives local businesses an opportunity to shine in front of residents, families, and fellow community leaders.

The festivities kick off with the Bridge Walk at 10 a.m., beginning at the intersection of Bland Street and Amherst Avenue near Springfield Plaza (staging by the FedEx Store). The parade will make its way to the American Legion Post 176, where a lively community celebration awaits. Attendees can enjoy live music, entertainment, food, and visit booths hosted by local businesses and community partners.
