Involvement in a chamber committee is a great way to connect with like-minded chamber members and bring more visibility to your business. This is where the work of the Chamber gets done.
Economic Development Committee
MISSION: Support and develop initiatives for economic development, workforce training and community partnerships to meet the current and future needs of local businesses.

This committee meets virtually the 4th Monday of each month at 2 pm.
Legislative Affairs Committee
MISSION: Advocate and promote pro-business policies at all levels of government
Chair: Paul Dean, The Dean Law Firm
This committee meets virtually on the First Wednesday at 8:00 am.
Member Engagement Committee
MISSION: Engage in continuous dialog with Chamber members to enhance their membership experience and to maximize retention

This committee meets virtually and in person on the 4th Thursday of each month at 8:30 am
Military and Veterans Affairs Committee
MISSION: Develop and foster relationships with Fort Belvoir and the greater military and Veterans communities. Keep Chamber members aware of changes and opportunities for business growth at Fort Belvoir.

Events Committee
MISSION: Create, plan and implement special and signature Chamber events.

This committee meets virtually the 3rd Thursday of each month at 8:30 am.
Chamber Golf Classic Committee
MISSION: Plan and implement the annual Chamber Golf Classic to raise money for the Chamber’s Scholarship Fund.

This committee meets virtually April thru September.
CAN the Bird 5K Committee
MISSION: Plan and implement the community CAN the Bird 5K on Thanksgiving.
